Introducing AuroraCell’s
“Innate Immunotherapy”
The pioneering innate immunotherapy technique is in the early pre clinical proof of concept stage. We are optimistic that as the research progresses we will be able to translate the technology into a life saving treatment for patients with liver cirrhosis and there is potential that the application can extend beyond to other diseases demonstrating potentially massive scalability and meaning the scope of people we could help in the future is even bigger.
-
It all begins with an idea, a passion to make a difference in the world. This lead to the launch of a business.
-
AuroraCell is taking the idea from concept to reality

Our Research
Our research focuses on the use of macrophages, a key component of the innate immune system. We are developing a patented engineered macrophage platform to address the underlying pathology of fibrosis. Having been a part of the Biomedical Catalyst’s Future Medicine’s Accelerator Program run by LYVA Labs, we have a Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult validated roadmap and regulatory strategy for progressing the technology through to a Phase 1 trial.
Having worked closely with a team in California to establish process development and proof of concept we have now been awarded an Innovate UK grant to continue our process development work and functionality testing in collaboration with the Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult, London and with StemBond Technologies at the Stem Cell Institute, Cambridge. We are excited for what we will be able to deliver with these partnerships as we progress through the pre clinical phase.
We are also excited to announce that AuroraCell has been selected to be part of the CDL Paris Nurture Programme for biotechnology start ups. The CDL Paris Nurture Programme supports high potential early stage companies with tailored content, resources, expert mentorship and ongoing engagement to help accelerate technology development. AuroraCell will benefit from CDL experts and mentors and opportunities to connect with other European early stage founders across the CDL and HEC ecosystem.
